Welcome back to the NYC Startup Jobs Newsletter!

This week’s jobs are all AI companies, so I thought it was appropriate to have an LLM write a few jokes for me:

1. New startup pitch: 'It's like Uber, but for AI.' What does it do? Who knows! But it has AI, so investors are already lining up.

2. Breaking news: Local man shocked to discover his toaster isn't AI-powered. 'But how will it learn my perfect toast preferences?' he wonders, staring forlornly at the pop-up lever."

3. Job listing of the future: 'Wanted: Human Placebo. Your role is to sit in meetings while AI makes all decisions. Must excel at nodding and saying 'Good idea!' Ability to drink coffee and look busy essential. Competitive salary (determined by AI).

This week’s list of venture-backed companies are all in the AI space. Some of the companies are more fundamental tech, and others have interesting applications for AI in a more commercial opportunity. All recently raised a minimum of $10M and are hiring. These are 10 companies to watch with lots of room for growth.
