Featured VC - Index Ventures

If you follow the tech IPO market, even casually, you've likely heard of Figma's blockbuster IPO last month. If you're not aware, Figma, a major competitor to Adobe Photoshop, went public at a valuation of $19.3 billion. The company's stock subsequently skyrocketed, netting its lead VC, Index Ventures, more than $10 billion on its investment of $86.5 million. This inspired me to cover other Index Ventures portfolio companies in this week's newsletter.

Index Ventures is headquartered in London and has offices in San Francisco, New York, and Geneva. They invest globally, from Seed to Growth, and across every industry vertical. In addition to Figma, Index has backed notable companies including Notion, Robinhood, Patreon, Discord, and Roblox.
