Director of Operations at Confidential Series A Fintech
Location: Hybrid NYC
Compensation: $150K-$170K + bonus + equity
Company Details: Series A fintech platform focused on increasing financial wellness and asset ownership among diverse Americans. Offering automated portfolio construction, financial education, and behavioral science-based engagement through partnerships with educational institutions, nonprofits, financial firms, and sports teams. Positioned for breakout growth in 2025.

The Role: As a Director of Ops, you will be responsible for building the systems and workflows today that will support 10x scale tomorrow—with a focus on reliability, repeatability, and cross-functional alignment. This role requires a blend of operational and technical acumen, leadership skills, and strategic thinking to design, implement and optimize operational systems and workflows that support the realization of business goals. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for fintech, a deep operational foundation, and the ability to inspire and execute in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications:

• Past middle office investment operations experience (including with custodial platforms (e.g., Apex), KYC/AML, reconciliation, trade ops, fee billing, performance reporting and regulatory filings)

• Past experience operating as a hands-on IC at an early-stage company

• Past experience executing in high-ambiguity environments while aligning and executing cross-functionally across the org

• Business and corporate operations competence
